It is our pleasure to welcome various international sporting events to the city of Tokyo. International sporting events, through the brilliant performances of athletes, energise the city, unite people, encourage diversity and above all communicate the importance of sport - the values we share.

To assist International Federations and respective National governing bodies in organising events in Tokyo, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government provides a support programme, including financial support.
